Viewing rooms
Carpenters Workshop Gallery
During my time at Carpenters Workshop Gallery, a contemporary art gallery operating since 2006 and known for blurring the lines between art, sculpture, and design, I had the privilege of working closely with a variety of artists, both directly and indirectly. My role encompassed a range of responsibilities, from managing the archives of the website and preparing client proposals, to leading the creation of digital viewing rooms for each of the gallery’s exhibitions.
These digital viewing rooms were tailored individually for each artist and show, ensuring that the visual style and narrative aligned with the spirit of the exhibition. For example, I designed viewing rooms for Tiss-Tiss by A+A Cooren, a Paris-based French-Japanese design studio, and for Elemental Folds by Kostas Lambridis, with each space crafted to reflect the artist’s distinct aesthetic and concept. This project allowed me to merge design and curation, creating digital experiences that enhanced the gallery’s storytelling and brought the exhibitions to life in the virtual space.

The projects also included the redesign of The Workshop Shop's landing page, enhancing the online shopping experience to better showcase the unique pieces available for sale. This involved creating a visually appealing and user-friendly interface that aligned with the gallery’s contemporary aesthetic.
